June 19, 2010: Limited parking for parade participants will be in the lot at Centennial Public School. As in past years, the north lot at the Legion, Br. 258 (45 Lawson Road) is available for parking by parade participants, and a shuttle bus will run from there to the parade startup location at Lawson & Centennial from 9:00 a.m. There will not be a shuttle from the Woodland Plaza to the Legion this year.
Road closures are from 8 a.m. to around 5:00 p.m, in the Village. Between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., special permits will be issued for vehicles delivering Festival items. After that and until close, NO VEHICLES except for a golf kart used by the operations manager for the Festival.
This year we are again grateful to have the kind participation of the Baitul' Afiyat Mosque, and there will be parking available at the Mosque at the corner of Old Kingston and Military Trail. Parking is also available at the Salvation Army Citadel lot on Morrish north of Old Kingston Road.
